I have always been fascinated by color. I have made clothing and been a nature photographer, among other artistic pursuits, all for the sake of color. I am drawn to the beautiful colors found in beads. The borosilicate glass I use reminds me of natureóit cannot be tamed and the color palette allows one to create the beauty of the oceans, skies, deserts, and forests in glass.
Each piece I create is an attempt at balancing color and form to evoke a response based on the color combinations. For me, art is about color and creating a feeling in myself and others through color.
