Expressionism is the effort to convey the artist’s inner feelings rather than represent external reality. I choose to create images that are derived from free flowing thoughts, creating a layering process of color, texture, shape, and line, which articulate my mood and inspiration. The concepts behind the images that appear in my work are derived from personal experiences, artistic experimentation and the surrounding environment.
