My handbound leather books include classical cord sewn binding techniques, combined with contemporary design, featuring askew shapes and curved edges. Hand fabricated metal components intertwine with stained glass, carved & embossed cover sculptures, and handmade papers.
The handcarved cover designs are embossed beneath leather by applying archival glue, one inch at a time, while working the leather into each crevice. Custom designed albums, journals, and portfolios are encouraged.
