As a boy I learned to weld, and my passion included inventing, designing and creating metal objects. My work is made from recycled metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel and copper. Each piece is cut with a torch and then bent, pounded, and shaped before grinding to a smooth finish.
My wife Kathryn also works with me, mostly in the design stages and finishing. Many pieces are functional such as sundials, birdbaths, clocks and tables, and others are purely decorative. My hobby of making iron angels for Christmas gifts, has turned into a life of passion for me.
