My work is influenced by my early
interest in math and science. Many
of my pieces include geometrical
forms and a sense of precision that
bridges fine art and design. I love
color, patterns and forms that when
combined together, take on a life of
their own. My artwork has a common
theme; each piece features glasslike
objects that have a glowing and
reflective quality, similar to blown
glass, stained glass or jewelry. The
interplay of light with the transparency
of “glass” and reflections makes the
artwork unusual and interesting.Many people see “energy” in the
artwork. Others see it as being
spiritual, religious or therapeutic.
That’s one of the great things about
abstract art. People see different
things in it and enjoy talking about
it. I see the artwork as being
a celebration of imagination and the
human spirit.
