Glass

I've always been attracted to the beauty of glass, and I began working with glass in 1997. I started by making stained glass windows for my ca. 1839 house. I started fusing glass in 2004 and have been working with fused glass exclusively since then. WHAT IS KILNFORMED GLASS? Most people are not familiar with the fusing/kilnforming process. The terms ‘kilnformed glass’, ‘fused glass’, and ‘warm glass’ all refer to glass that has been fused or molded in a kiln. It’s called ‘warm glass’ because the working temperatures of kilnformed glass lies midway between the extremes of glass blowing (‘hot glass’) and stained glass (‘cold glass’).
