For over 20 years I’ve been president of my own advertising agency in Atlanta, Ga. For the past 9 years I’ve devoted the majority of my creative energy to oil painting. I’m always looking for interesting subjects to paint. My recent journeys have taken me deep into the Florida Everglades, the Georgia coast, and the backcountry of the Great Smoky Mountains.
I work with oil on canvas. I use colors that are bright with unusual, playful action. I see interesting possibilities using complimentary colors. My colors and palette knife and brush strokes have movement and energy. I have been strongly influenced by the work of the Impressionists — especially Vincent Van Gogh, Cezanne and Monet.”
