I work with stained art glass and found glass, ceramic, granite and stone objects to create mosaic sculpture. Many of the works of art are functional as mirrors or display racks, while other pieces are simply 3 dimensional sculptures. These abstract colorful assemblages are anchored to fiberglass or concrete backer board. The matrix material is custom colored cement grout. I choose colors that accent the art glass chosen for each individual piece, and each piece of sculpture is one of a kind. My work is ever changing as the light moves across it. I am drawn to the materials I use, but the most important thing is to satisfy my creative urge and move ideas out of my mind and into a form.
