My recent works are a fusion born out of film, metal and the idea to represent the transient nature of our world and the impact that the elements and time have on all things. The powerful hand of nature constantly modifies and levels all human works.
The frames that I manufacture out of automobile hoods, add another dimension to the photo and reinforce the image, by offering physical proof and satisfying the sense of touch by adding texture. Each scratch, rusted area and color of the frames merges my photography with other art forms. The qualities of my painting and sculpture enter the realm of my creating, and each piece is a one-of-a-kind, living material.
