I produce functional pottery in both white and dark stoneware along with my husband Greg. Our stoneware is fired in oxidation to 2200 degrees in electric kilns. Pieces are either thrown on the wheel or hand built at our home studio, formerly a double garage in pre-pottery days.
I am intrigued by the possibilities of surface, and decorate each piece with slip trailing, carvings and handmade stamps and tools, using various matte and gloss glazes, which we make ourselves.
