I have been a clay artist for over 30 years, and have worked in many clay bodies. I am currently using an earthenware clay body. Creating one-of-a-kind tiles that are then made into wall pieces and tables. The table frames are made of iron, which are cut, bent and welded together.
Each piece is a slab built, free cut to my designs. I enjoy creating unusual shapes, and my pieces are decorated using over 20 underglazes and slips. I love to use various items when creating my designs, so I never use any molds. I look at past eras for inspiration when designing these handcrafted works of art.
